Nigar Rafik Alakbarova graduated from Middle School No. 6 of Sabail district.
She graduated from Faculty of Economics of Azerbaijan State Oil Academy in 1995.
She studied Chinese language in Beijing and in 2002 she worked as a methodist in the Вepartment of Education of AMU.
Since 2005 she has been working as a Senior lecturer in the Department of "Social Sciences".
She speaks fluently Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Chinese languages.
In 2017-2018 she held the position of Deputy Dean in Dean's office for foreign students of AMU.
Since 10.18.2018 till nowadays she works as a Deputy Head of the International Relations Office of AMU.
